Does my voice leave my Mac?
Not by default. Recognition runs on your Mac, and audio isn’t kept unless you choose to. Two settings send dictation audio to Meosu’s server, both off until you turn them on: Cloud dictation, for requests your Mac can’t handle, and Meosu Cloud speech, for every dictation. Meeting notes you start send that meeting’s audio to the server, which deletes it once the notes are saved. See how we handle your data
Which apps does it work in?
Meosu tries safe direct insertion in the field you chose. If an app refuses it, the text is on your clipboard so you can paste it without dictating again, and the island says so.
Hindi and English in one sentence?
Yes. Pin English as the main language and mix Hindi in; it stays in Roman letters unless you switch.
