Colophon

This site is built with the same design system as the Meosu app for macOS — literally. Colors, the mark, and every icon are generated from the same token and geometry sources the app compiles from, verified in the same continuous integration.

Color

The ground is black by declaration, as it is in the app. Everything on it is monochrome except the mark's cyan-to-blue ramp, which appears on exactly two things here: the mark and the waveform. Nothing else is painted with it.

Type

Display text is set in Meosu Sans, a derivative of Cooper Hewitt (© 2014 Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum), modified in 2026: sharp vertices were softened into rounded valleys echoing the arch of the Meosu mark, and a rupee glyph was drawn. Both the original and the derivative are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Body text is set in your system's native face, exactly as the app does.

Icons

Every icon is drawn to the Meosu icon grammar: monoline strokes, fully semicircular terminals, arcs instead of vertices, on a 24-unit grid with a measured weight ladder. No icon library is used.

Stack

Built with Astro, plain CSS custom properties, and almost no client-side JavaScript. Pages are static, fonts are subset to about 18 KB per weight, and the whole landing page weighs less than a single hero image on most sites.
